Lucas Laferla Awarded Operator of the Month – June 2020
We’re thrilled to announce that Lucas Laferla is our winner of ‘Operator of the Month’ for June 2020
Mobile Team Leader
Lucas has worked for H&W since December 2018. Lucas is Marcin’s team leader for London, Greater London, Sussex and Kent, covering over 200 sites.
Key responsibilities for Lucas are –
- Managing a team of mobile operatives
- Interviewing new operatives for vacancies
- Completing audits and ensuring high standards
- Completing training
- Completing specialist cleaning tasks such as carpet cleaning, scrub and sealing floors etc
- Helping Marcin to book and manage holidays
- Providing holiday and sickness cover along with his team
- Ordering stock and managing site stock levels
- Completing PAT test on all our electrical equipment
- Ensuring that cleaning operatives and mobile teams follow Health and Safety guidance
A Deserved Winner of the Award
“Lucas worked very hard during the lockdown as he was the only mobile, out of five, that we kept during these difficult times. Started early in the morning /finished late nights and worked weekends without any complaints.”

“Lucas has worked tirelessly throughout the last 3 months while many of his colleagues have been on furlough, ensuring H&W continue to provide essential daily cleaning and decontamination cleaning. Many of the contracts Lucas oversees provide key services, such as healthcare (hospitals and GP surgeries) and merchants supplying plumbing, heating and building materials.”
Along with the award, Lucas was also presented with £50 of Love2Shop vouchers, a token of our huge appreciation from all at H&W.
