Graffiti Removal Process

Graffiti removal can be a nightmare unless it is done professionally and properly, especially if you wish to truly restore the area without a trace of the graffiti in sight!

When cleaning graffiti from walls / hard surfaces the following method is used:-

Area to be treated is isolated by way of barriers and signs.
Area to be cleaned is tested by using the high pressure water jet on steam function – graffiti which is made of water based paint will come off using this method.
The area is treated with Graffiti Remover (picture below and COSHH available upon request) for 10 minutes.
A high pressure water jet is used to remove graffiti.
Stubborn graffiti is then further treated using the sand blaster attachment to the jet. This is only used in areas where the area can be cordoned off from the public and appropriate safety methods can be used.

Other painted areas may not be suitable for high pressure jetting or steam, we would then recommend that the area be repainted if needed.

Graffiti Prevention

As it can be incredibly difficult to remove graffiti you may wish to use a prevention method in order to make the removal of graffiti much easier.

After removal, we offer an Anti-Graffiti Coating to help ensure that future incidences can be dealt with quickly and easily.

The anti-graffiti coating works by forming a clear surface barrier over the area you wish to protect. If graffiti is then re-applied to the surface it can be washed away simply with a high pressure washer.
