Congratulations to Lucas Laferla and Terry Dixon who have both been promoted within the company.

Lucas has been promoted to Area Manager having been one of our Mobile team leaders and Terry who was one of our cleaning operatives, has been promoted to Mobile Team Leader.

Operations Director, Tom Marriot said “Both Terry and Lucas are very worthy of their promotions and testament to the hard work they have put in over the past two years.”

Lucas has worked for H&W since December 2018. Lucas is Marcin’s team leader for London, Greater London, Sussex and Kent, covering over 200 sites. Lucas has worked tirelessly throughout the last 6 months while many of his colleagues have been on furlough,  ensuring H&W continue to provide essential daily cleaning and decontamination cleaning. Many of the contracts Lucas oversees provide key services, such as healthcare (hospitals and GP surgeries) and merchants supplying plumbing, heating and building materials.

He has also recently been the star of our staff training videos, helping with ideas and also translating script into Portuguese.

Manager Marcin had this to say “We thought that Lucas would be the perfect candidate for this role due to the very hard work he has been constantly putting in his previous role. We are always keen to invest in our staff and like to promote within the company”

Lucas is a shining example of this and we are thrilled to have him in the role.

Terry has been with H&W for over 3 years, working as one of our mobile operators. He is hard working, reliable and goes out of his way to be helpful to everyone. He has recently completed his Skills Training with BICS (The British Institute of Cleaning Science) and can now train other H&W staff on cleaning skills. In the new year he will taking the BICSc Accredited Trainer course, which will enable him to share and cascade BICSc skills training knowledge, to allow for independent assessment and certification. Providing the skill set to ensure that their candidate comprehension and basic trainer abilities are sufficient for hands on practical training. This will be a great advantage for the company and we are very happy that Terry has taken on this responsibility.

Manager Marcin says “Terry is an incredibly hard working person whom had been with the company for a long time and we know we can always rely on him.”
