Help Us Raise £2000 for Cancer Charity, CLIC Sargent

Operations Director, Tom Marriott, is about to embark on another challenge in an attempt to raise for CLIC Sargent, a charity that is very close to his heart.

The challenge is to  run the London Marathon and ride the Pennine Way.

The charity, CLIC Sargent, is a cancer charity which “fights for young cancer patients to ensure they thrive, not just survive.”

We would greatly appreciate any donations you may be able to make.

This is What Tom has to Say…

I love challenges which was pretty important when I decided to run the London Marathon and ride the Pennine way on MTB.  I also wanted to use the opportunity to raise some money for a charity I feel is really worthwhile and does great things.

Some time ago my Cousin Bobby Cruise was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma, very sadly a battle he lost at the age of 14, not something any child or family should ever have to endure.  I’m raising money for CLIC to help find a cure and so that children like Bobby and their families get all the help and support they need.

The first event will be the mountain bike ride starting on 6th September 2018 finishing on 9th.  I’ll be riding with friends James, Ed, Mike and Twiki with Darren and Jimmy supporting us from Cromford to Kirkby Stephen, 175 miles and 19.5k ft of climbing.  The second will be the London Marathon in April!

Thank you for your support.

Tom
